Sasko Flour

The Sasko Flour brand was first introduced in 1948 and the popularity of the brand has grown consistently over the years and today it is a well-known and loved South African brand.

In 1997, Sasko Flour took the lead in basic nutrition and was the first flour in South Africa to be fortified with 4 B vitamins and folic acid.

Sasko Flour was also the first product in South Africa to be promoted through the integration of the brand with a television drama. Unlike other promotions where the product are merely placed, Sasko Flour became a part of the SABC2 series Muvhango in that a Sasko Flour Mill is set as the background for the storyline - Sasko Flour is the story!

Sasko Flour's positioning line is: "Makes your baking better tasting" with the flour going through a stringent quality control process to ensure consistent baking results that delivers tasty baked goods that the baker can present with pride.
